Arlene “This is true…” The shock in her gaze was unmistakably raw, vivid, and deliciously satisfying to behold. Her pupils dilated, and she took an instinctive step backward, her face a canvas of disbelief as her eyes locked onto mine. It was as though she couldn’t quite process what she was seeing, as though her mind was screaming the same phrase over and over: Yasmin is dead.
