Harper Vane didn't let go of my wrist until we were three corridors deep into a wing I'd never seen before. Reinforced doors. Biometric scanners. Signs that said AUTHORIZED SENTINELS ONLY in letters big enough to read from space. He pressed his palm to a panel and the wall slid open like it had been waiting for him.
