Romeo?

319 Words
“You will be fine, baby,” he whispered into my ear, spraying my body with kisses. The sinful things he was doing to me were driving me crazy. I was writhing and moaning beneath him. I had arrived here late last night, already exhausted from all the running and the beating. I didn’t even have time to appreciate this place, but waking up this morning and looking around, I saw how beautiful and spacious the room was. My head pounded, a headache so fierce it felt like a hangover. I tried to stand from the bed, but my legs were weak — I had to grab the edge just to steady myself as memories started flashing through my head. Someone was kissing me last night. Who was making me moan? Who was here with me? And then — I signed a paper before falling asleep? What the hell? Panic shot through me as I rushed to the door, hoping to find the man who kissed me or the one who handed me that paper to sign in the car. But when I stepped out, everywhere was completely quiet. No voices. No footsteps. Am I being kidnapped? My stomach twisted. I grabbed my phone and texted Romeo, but he didn’t respond. That alone was enough to spark all my fears. So I did what any normal person would do in my situation — I went to the kitchen and made myself a good meal. Because honestly, it didn’t matter if I was kidnapped, if I had lost my family, or if I had unknowingly sold myself to a stranger — as long as I had enough food in my belly, I would survive. Those were the affirmations I gave myself before that rascal walked in, making me jump as soon as I saw him. “This doesn’t answer my question,” I said, handing him back his identity card.
