We sat down to eat as the boys came in wearing just their towels and sat with us. My eyes must have widened and I looked anywhere but at the men making everyone giggle. Arden lifted me onto his knee.

"Arden no you're all wet!"

"And who's fault is that? You did the crime now you do the time. Suck it up it's just a little water"

I snorted and laughed at his pissy attitude, it just made him smile and shake his head.

"Listen everyone I feel a little guilty for using my freak out to get you all in the pool and I'm sorry and I promise I'll not do it again"

"Honestly it was too damn funny for me to care!"

Baylee said, cackling away. Everyone else agreed and soon the tequila was out and I knew it was going to be a long night. I'm not a big drinker but I was having such a nice time I didn't want it to end so I had one drink and it didn't taste too good so I stuck with water.

After a while I was just too tired to stay up talking so we excuse ourselves and went upstairs to shower.

"Well that was an unusual anniversary"

Arden said, stepping under the stream of water.

"It started shitty but honestly it ended well. I feel better than I have ever before. More empowered and I'm so grateful to you all for that."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed his smiling face.

"I don't think I've ever seen you smile and laugh this much. It was addictive and I think everyone else felt it to"

He kissed me again and all of today's problems disappeared and I had one thing on my mind. I was nervous but I think I am ready to take the next step. After kissing in the shower Arden carried me to bed.

As he got up to get dressed I pulled him back down and kissed him. I pushed his back against the bed and I climbed on his knee. He pulled us up to the headboard probably thinking we were just going to do stuff but I was ready for more.

He deepened the kiss moaning as our tongues collided and we tasted each other, his hands slowly moved down my side sending shivers all over my body. He said it slowly right at my lips, his breath fans my face and makes me shiver and suddenly I was excited for round 2. I closed the gap and kissed him again and bucked my hips against his own.

I whisper and he chuckles but pulls my head into his hands and rolls us over. And that was us for the entire night. I lost count of the times we did it, taking a nap in between here and there but by breakfast Arden decided to miss training and do it one last time before we re entered the world tired and thoroughly f****d.

"So dad I really think we should get the pipes looked at, I heard awful banging just now"

"Fay what did you do in the elevator?"

I directed my eyes to the roof, anywhere but everyone else's view.

The room cheered

"Would you stop saying that out loud aspen I'm going to kill you later!!"

"To be fair brother you should have at least sorted your hairs out"

My hands went instantly to my hair and I turned to look at Ardens and snorted, it was standing in every direction. I flattened it down with my hand and he did something to mine. She laughed at him but there were tears running down my cheeks. I was giggling so hard.

He kissed each cheek and I lay back on his chest and enjoyed my morning with my family. Just as I was finally relaxed and chatting, Evelin entered the room looking worried.

"Em alpha, Luna something has been dropped at the border. It's on its way here now I'm not sure what it is"

"Why did patrols not contact me?"

Arden answered with furrowed brows, Evelyn bit her lip and her face went red.

"Well they tried but you were um busy"

Me, aspen, Megan and Baylee all snorted at the same time making almost everyone else laugh too. Well except for the men they looked a little worried then it hit me. It could be about my dad and I stopped laughing and jumped up.

"Are they bringing it here? Is it a box or a letter? How did they get close enough to the border? That means they are close? Have they sent patrols after them?"

I looked around at everyone who suddenly all jumped into action but Arden stopped.

"Hang on, we need to stay calm. Aspen can you have men follow the trail of where it was left and find out how they got so close. Babe I need you to stay calm for me, I'm right here and no one will hurt you ok?"

"I know but they might hurt my dad if he's alive but I'll stay calm"

He nodded and kissed my lips gently then pulled me back onto his knee and filled a coffee cup as aspen gave patrols their jobs. Soon the warriors arrived with a box.

"I brought it straight here alpha I haven't touched it"

It was a paper birthday bag, with little ribbons all over it. On the front it said

'For her royal highness'

I growled and sniffed it. I could smell dad, I opened it quickly and inside was a photo in a frame that said it's your lucky day with a small shamrock on the side. The picture was a picture of my dad bloodied and beaten holding a large piece of card with yesterday's date on it and underneath it said surprise in big letters.

Arden pulled the frame from my trembling hand. I pulled out a small sandwich bag, it had blood and some fabric on it. I pulled some paper towels onto the table and emptied it out. Out fell the fabric soaked in blood but when I touched it I froze.

"What is it?"

Arden said looking over my shoulder

"It's not a piece of fabric, it's a lump of his skin. They skinned him like they did me"

I said through clenched teeth. I wasn't afraid anymore. The trembles in my hand were not one of fear but one of pure rugid rage. I growled and stood up, my body shaking. Thea was tearing my insides dying to get out. I stormed out of the packhouse and walked to the cellar. I heard feet behind me but I didn't care I was going to skin this fucker alive.

"Hey Luna, what are you doing here?"

"Let me in please"

His eyes widened and he didn't argue. I walked in and he was sitting on the ground smiling at me. I walked up to him and pulled him to his feet then I kicked him in the stomach hard. I punched him hard and he laughed at me so I extended my claws and I dragged them down his face painfully slowly

"I told you unharmed. You f*****g tell them if they touch another hair on his head you'll be going home with no skin anywhere do you understand?"

I said in his ear only low enough for him to hear. As mad as I was, I didn't want him to think they knew our plan. That I was going to sneak off into the night with him to save my father. He wouldn't know that they all will be waiting patiently for them.

"You haven't got the balls you slut"

I laughed with Thea. I laughed a cruel sadistic laugh one that caught him by surprise

"Oh you think? Arden get me a knife love will ya"

His eyes widened

"You wouldn't dare!"

"Wouldn't I? It's not like you don't deserve it? It's not like as a wolf you can't handle it. After all you think humans can survive it so why wouldn't you? Isn't that right donny?"

"They will kill him"

"And that will just be another excuse for me to keep you as my pet and torture you every day for the rest of your life. I might even have you join the pack then your life really will be long and miserable. Light your hand love will ya and heat that up for me"

Arden took the knife and did what I said as I taped my chin and looked him over.

"Now where should I start! Any suggestions?"

I looked to the room, all looked worried for me, all except lilly, mum and dad, Arden and aspen. They looked elated for me.

"Go for the chest, it's a b***h to heal. Opens everytime you move"

Dad winked at me and I giggled. I sounded crazy but I didn't care not anymore.

"Sounds perfect"

I walked up to him and ripped his T-shirt from his chest and lifted the chains and hung them around a hook above him so he couldn't move then Arden handed me the knife. It was red hot.

"If you do this they will hurt him"

"If they hurt him, next is your d**k! You will have done to you what has been done to him. I'm not playing. I'll cut your d**k off and feed it to my wolf pup! Do you understand! This is a warning from me to your pathetic little mates. I'll burn you all to the ground. I'll take everything you have and I'll burn it, anyone that you hold dear I will kill. Do you understand me"

I ran the hot blade down the side of his cheek. He screamed

I felt a force push out of my body and hit him, should him enough to stop the noise.
