Rather than kill me, the men dragged me into a concrete room with rock walls and a huge grille.

It was a dungeon

"Wow, so the she-wolf doesn't speak?" I heard a mocking voice that made me jump to my feet.

The man approached me and gestured to other men to hold my body "s**t, this b***h doesn't talk? Kill her!"

I looked up only to see the man pull out a golden dagger and bring it to my neck.

At that moment, however, the cell opened and a woman entered.

"What the f**k are you doing? Are you planning to kill her?"

Quickly the man turned away from me and shook his body in panic.

"She's a rogue... you have to..."

"Enough! Can't you see that the girl has survived? Look at her wounds, she is strong, she can be useful" said the woman scanning my scarred body.

The man nodded his head and stepped back as the woman placed her hand on my chin and lifted my head up.

"I am... I am Thalia" I said half-heartedly.

The woman had a powerful aura, as if she had a great rank. "Tell me, do you wish to live? If so, I propose you to work for the pack" The woman added, explaining a bit more about her proposal.

She planned to give me food, water and shelter in exchange for my work. Despite her words she had a strange gleam in her eyes. The golden ring around her iris told me that she was a powerful witch.

Witches are supposed to work for the Lycan King Aidan, the most powerful and dangerous man in the world.

As I hesitated my answer. The man took a step towards the woman "Are you serious? The girl's a minx!" the man implied with annoyance.

"Enough! I didn't ask for your opinion. I don't care if she's naughty and invaded our ground. If she agrees to work for me, her offences will be forgiven, otherwise I will make her death the most painful in the world" added the woman with an evil smile on her face.

The woman seemed to scrutinize my thoughts with her eyes I quickly shook my head and nodded "I agree to work for you" I finally said

"Good decision" she said with a smile on her lips.

After that she and her men left the cell. Before they left, however, she made a gesture and two other burly men came in to grab my arm.

"You will come now" said the man.

I nodded and we immediately left the cell.

We got into a car that was driving along a rocky road. I couldn't help but look around me and see the scenery. Everything was beautiful, it even looked bigger and more luxurious than my old herd.

After almost an hour of driving, the car finally stopped at a huge silver and white mansion.

"We have arrived" said the man before I moved to get out of the car.

"I will give you your uniform, and I will tell you where you will sleep from now on" announced the woman walking towards the imposing mansion.

I nodded and followed the woman. As soon as we entered, a couple of omegas approached the woman and smiled.

I didn't even pay attention when I saw the huge reception room, it was more luxurious than any I had ever seen before. The walls were white with dark decorations.

I was enraptured in my mind when suddenly something fell in front of me causing me to recoil.

I opened my eyes wide as I felt hot liquid splashing down my legs. In a second I looked down and saw the lifeless body of a woman at my feet.

My whole body began to throb with terror as I heard a loud growl from one of the upper floors.

"I warned you!"

Suddenly I looked up and met a pair of wild black eyes that stared at me for a couple of seconds.

I couldn't help but take a step back feeling all my blood run cold. The man was f*****g tall, with an incredibly terrifying aura.

But what impressed me the most, was the exquisite smell he gave off. Did all Lycans have that smell?

I quickly looked down as my hands trembled. It was obvious that he was the Lycan King Aidan, and his power was unbelievable.

"Damn it Danna, get the dirt out of here. And the next maiden you send, don't even send a b***h or I'll break every bone in her life" announced the man with a loud growl.

"Yes my king" said the woman bowing.

The man just made a gesture and looked at me as if he could read my thoughts. After a few seconds he just walked away.

The woman grimaced and ordered her men to take the woman out of the room "God she is the 7th girl in two weeks. I don't know what goes on in those girls' heads. Can't they see who he is?" she said angrily.

But before that, the woman approaches the girl and snatches something out of her hand.

As soon as the men had taken the corpse away, the woman took me to a service room to introduce me to the other staff.

Apparently my job was to serve the Lycans who lived in the mansion.

"Well, if you do your job and don't go up those stairs, everything will be fine" said one of the women.

From that moment on I understood what my duties were in the mansion. Cleaning, cooking and attending to all the orders of the Lycan King Aidan.

It had been 5 days since I arrived at the new pack, however that afternoon a couple of murmurs reached my ears.

"Did you hear? They seek a maiden for the King".

"Oh dear, I hope he takes us into account. I would give anything to be with that man".

The women sounded anxious, but I just listened and mopped the huge floor.

"He's a f*****g god, I..."

The girl didn't even finish her words when suddenly Mrs. Danna opened the kitchen door with a bang.

"Everyone, over here, line up quickly!" The woman ordered, making all the employees run to line up.

I ran and stood in line as I tried to understand what was going on.

In my thoughts I saw Danna walk past all the girls until she stopped in front of me. She took my chin and scanned my whole body. "You... You will be the new maid of King Aidan..." she said, leaving me dumbfounded.

"What?" I asked in a low tone.

"What you heard. You know how to cook, clean and organise, I could see that this week. So it's a direct order, otherwise you know your punishment" added the woman coldly.

It was clear that it was not a decision but an order, so I just nodded and took a step forward.

"This is what you must do..." Suddenly the woman started to tell me a couple of instructions while walking around the mansion.

"If you have memorized everything, your first job as the king's maid will be to prepare his breakfast" she said handing me a couple of ingredients in the kitchen.

The only thing going through my head was that scene when the King threw that headless girl. At this I swallowed hard and started breakfast.

After that, I gathered my courage and followed the woman's directions to the stairs where there were several dark corridors.

I followed the first corridor to a single door. The woman told me that I should not touch the door, so I just moved the knob and entered with the tray in my hands.

My whole body was trembling as my heart was beating faster and faster.

I quickly reached a small table and started to dismantle the breakfast. But at that moment a smell of s*x flooded my nostrils.

My eyes widened like saucers when I looked around and saw another room inside the room. Fortunately the door was closed, but I could clearly hear moans and gasps coming from the room.

Most surprisingly, there were several women in the room. Was it some kind of harem?

Without thinking more, I shook my head and continued to organise the table with the food.

In fact, I was so lost in my work, that I didn't notice when the door of the secondary room opened.

"Who are you?" A cold and hoarse voice was heard behind me.

I had spent years looking for my mate, but never managed to find her. The elders wanted to deliver a chosen mate, but I wanted no other.

However, I had given up hope, and focused on my kingdom.

But just when I thought I was finally over it all, I saw her there, the long-haired, light-eyed minx.

From the moment I saw that girl enter the mansion a million sparks were felt in my body. My heart beat fast. Something about that girl seemed strange

Her face had a huge scar that seemed not to heal yet. However, what ate at me was the delicious scent she had.

For a second I was enraptured looking at her, but I went back to my room.

From that day on I would only stop on the balcony and admire the girl from a distance. She had a slim body, but with perfect proportion in her breasts and ass.

Under the scar, she had an angelic face and full lips. However, when I asked her to be my maid I couldn't help but feel strange.

"Oh honey, it feels so rough" said one of the blondes on the bed.

I didn't even pay any attention to her words, I just got out of bed and put on a pair of sweatpants.

However, when I left the room, I saw the girl arranging a tray of food. I looked at her body under that short black dress that was bursting with her perfect figure.

For a second I lost it and walked towards her and I wanted to eat her, but when I inhaled again, I didn't feel her wolf.
