Chapter 3

538 Words
I saw Mr. Roy's eyes flicking from one object to another. Tension and sadness was easily seen on his face. It was pretty normal though, the man's bank got robbed! It's unlike George's two dollars. But I was positive that we could get through this case bank robbers always left come clue. I already had sent Rachel to bank, she was a rigid cop, I could trust her with my eyes closed. Cameras, reportes and journalists was all over the bank as expected. It was one of the hottest news now.I heard reporters talking while we three were entering the bank. Rachel did well, no entry of any outsider & no exit of any insider of bank. ''Rachel what you got" I asked. " It's in chamber three, a safe.'' I could see Mr. Roy's head bowed down as soon as we heard from Rachel. ''What's up with the chambers?'' I asked to Mr.Roy. ''The bank has 3 chambers. Chamber 1 for money deposits, chamber 2 for Jewellery and Chamber 3 for special stuff'' Mr. Roy said. ''And what's that special stuff like?'' George asked. ''Honestly we don't know, there are lockers for the customers they can have anything in there from important documents to maybe something ordinary like pen." Mr. Roy was speaking when Rachel cut him off. ''But that seperate safe in the center that's bank property, right? Rachel said. ''Yes'' Mr. Roy didn't manage to speak more rather than that. ''So if it is bank's property than you know what was in there?'' I asked to know how big the heist was. ''Yes, 6 diamonds & around 1 million dollars in cash." Mr. Roy said in a breaking voice. Only word that I managed to spell out was ''Wicked'' ******* It's almost an hour now since Harry had left. I was afraid for what he was going through right now, the hardwork of 10 years had been robbed. But I hope cops would get onto something and soon we would have culprits. I took my mind off on this incident as I remembered Erika it's been long since we had lunch. I went with some snacks upstairs to her room I knew she would be sad, she would be broken. Beacuse for her it was not the money it was her friend Caroline which she cared about, her one of the few friends. She visited her regularly and loves to spent time with her. As I about to knock her bedroom door I heard something little whining, she was crying and why wouldn't she the thoughts of losing a dear friend hit you differently especially when you are just 12 and your circle was that small. I could only remember 3 or 4 friends she had. I believe she liked to live alone but with Caroline she was different and now... ''Poor girl'' I sighed as I knocked on the door: ''Erika open up have some snacks dear''. ''I'm not in the mood'' she said crying. Maybe she was much more close to Caroline than I expected. ''Ok dear I'm leaving this outside have it when you feel good.'' I said trying to be as calm as I could. ''Okk'' she replied maybe just to avoid me.
