Chapter 2 Boyfriend and Best Friend

Vivian was irritated. But she hid her anger. She answered with a sweet voice, “What are you talking about? Jane, I wish I am pregnant. So, my beloved man will be happy too. Well, you can’t get it. I will go to test…” She almost sang out.

Jane had known Vivian for years. She knew what girl Vivian was. But Jane did worry about Vivian’s career if Vivian was truly pregnant.

Jane wore a pair of slippers and went to wash fruits.

When she was about to eat an apple, she heard the doorbell ringing. Felling curious who will visit Vivian at night, Jane walked to the gate and looked out through the peephole.

When she saw clear who the visitor was, she was stunned.

Andy Parker?

Did Vivian tell him that I am here and gave him the address?

Thinking that Andy Parker might come here because he worried about her, Jane could help smile happily.

She opened the door. “Hey! Mr. Parker, why do you come here at this time? It is late.”

Andy Parker was a handsome gentleman. Wearing the light-brown wool coat, he looked taller and slimmer.

He gazed at Jane for a while. “I come for you,” he said.

“I am okay. You always treat me like a kid.” Jane smiled sweetly and pulled Andy into the room. She added, “Are you hungry? Vivian and I bought some food in the supermarket. I can cook for you.” 

“Thank you.” Andy nodded his head.

“Wait for me!” Jane kissed Andy’s face and ran to the kitchen. “It is nice to have something spicy on such a cold day. Bug Vivian can’t eat spicy food. Well, she might need extra care now…”

Jane never knew that her boyfriend, Andy Parker, who was standing behind her looked at her with a strange look.

Minutes later, Vivian came out from the washroom. Looking at the test kit in her hand, she couldn’t help smiling.

When she saw Andy in the living room, she was more excited. “Andy!”

Delivering the test kit to Andy Parker, she bit her lips and said shily, “See… It seems that I am pregnant…”

“What?” Andy was surprised.

He gazed at the pregnancy test kit, and surprise turned to happiness. He looked at Vivian for a while and then hugged her gently. “Vivian, I didn’t expect this. You are amazing…”

Vivian hugged him and whispered, “I am surprised at first. I worried that I mistook it. So, I didn’t tell you. Now, I tried with the pregnancy test kit. We are going to have a baby! Andy, will you like this baby?”

Andy kissed Vivian’s forehead and replied, “This is our baby. I love you. And I will love this baby.”

“What about Jane?” Vivian murmured. She uttered with a determined voice, “Andy, we shouldn’t tell Jane about this. She is my best friend. I don’t want her to be sad.”

After saying that, Vivian cried, “I never want to take anything from Jane. But… I love you. I love you so much! I can’t tolerate my life without you… Knowing that I am pregnant, I am so happy. At the same time, I feel so sorry.”

“Vivian, you are pregnant. Calm down, my darling.” Andy felt heart-broken when he saw Vivian cry. He took a coat to cover Vivian and said, “I can break up with her. I don’t love her. There is no need for you to worry about her.”

“Andy, don’t say that. That will hurt Jane.” Saying that Jane smiled like a winner when Andy couldn’t see her face

Something was broken into pieces in the kitchen.

Standing at the kitchen door, Jane was frozen. She had heard every word they had said.

With her eyes wide open, Jane asked with shock, “What did you say?”

What I heard must be false… This might be a nightmare… Jane thought.

“Jane!” Seeing Jane, Vivian was panicked. She wanted to get away from Andy’s hug.

But Andy hugged her firmly. Andy gazed at Jane with a cold face. There was not a sign of guilt. He uttered with a cold voice, “I said Vivian is pregnant. And I will marry her.”

Vivian was pregnant…

Jane felt she couldn’t hold herself. She gazed at Vivian’s belly for a while.

Staring at Vivian who seemed to be guilt and sad, Jane asked slowly, “So, the man you said you loved is Andy Parker, my boyfriend?”

Vivian bit her lips and almost cried out. “Jane… I didn’t mean to hurt you. I just couldn’t control myself. I love Andy. Please, don’t be mad at me. I can live alone. You and Andy can still be together.”

“Vivian! What are you talking about? Why do you always think about her?” Seeing Vivian crying and begging, Andy was sad and mad. He glanced at Jane and added, “If she didn’t meet with me, she is nothing.”

 Interesting!

Jane felt she was the funniest joke in this world!

Her best friend slept with her boyfriend and had a baby. And She was the one who helped them to buy the f*****g pregnancy test kit!

What the f**k?

“Yes, you are right. Without you, Andy Parker, maybe I can’t be an actress,” Jane clenched her hands and sneered, “But you think this is the reason you slept with my best friend? You think you did the right thing?”

“Jane! That is not true.” Vivian tried to explain, acting like she didn’t want to upset Jane. “If you are mad at me, I will be so sad. Please forgive me and be my friend.”

Jane looked at Vivian without expressions, “Don’t be mad at you? Can you make all these happened to disappear?”

“Shut up! Jane Collins!” Andy shut. He might feel a bit of guilt when he saw Jane today. But now, he could only feel anger. “I fell in love with Vivian. You can hate me.

Andy walked forward and added, “Do you remember what Vivian did for you? She is the one who got you back and made arrangements for you. She even begged me to introduce you to get a position in Jade Entertainment and take care of you. If she didn’t say that, you think I will talk with you the day we met?”

Vivian pulled Andy’s sleeves and shook her head. “Andy, stop!”
