“Laura told me you wanted to meet up with me.” Allen was seated across Laura’s uncle in a quiet restaurant. After what had occurred, Laura’s uncle decided to meet with Allen and he instructed Laura to inform him.
They both sat there, staring at each other; Laura’s uncle with a curious expression, and Allen with a nonchalant expression. At long last, Laura’s uncle finally spoke.
“Who exactly are you?”
“Me? I’m just me, I guess. I don’t seem to understand your question.” Allen replied with a playful smile.
“I mean, what kind of person are you?” He asked.
“I am Laura’s boyfriend.”
“Yes, you’ve made that part pretty clear. What I really want to know is how you knew I was going to be poisoned? A regular person wouldn’t be able to know that, so what are you?” Laura’s uncle asked.
