ALLEN
I stalled for a while, before returning to class and found Laura already in the class. Lately, my thoughts have revolved around her. How would I break the news to her? She was seated beside Gold, and once again I got caught staring at her. I quickly averted my eyes in another direction.
“Laura, you’re coming to Zay’s party, right?’ Gold asked her. Immediately, Zainab stood up and retorted, “I don’t want her at my party. She isn’t invited.” Her best friend’s outburst shocked Gold. It was very unusual for her to behave like that to someone she met just recently. “Well, why can’t she come, Zay?” asked Gold.
“I don’t want that smug, annoying face at my party. That’s it" There was a loud silence in the hall, as Laura just stared at her phone without looking up at Zainab.
Suddenly, she spoke up. ‘Do you have a problem with me?” “Tell me about it, and stop being a coward, huh.”. For that moment, Zainab couldn’t say anything and just stared at Laura with a look of anger and stormed out of the class. Khalid decided to follow her and take her back to class.
LOCATION: THE PALACE
Gold’s car drove into the Palace. She stepped out of her car wearing a white mini-dress with silver heels. She looked good and felt good as well.
Gold walked in through the main entrance and to the main lounge, where she found the Queen along with two of her friends. She walked up to the Queen and gave her greetings, which were returned with a warm hug. She also gave her greetings to the other women present. Gold had a good relationship with the Prince’s family and they saw her as their daughter. She regarded them as her parents even.
“This is Prince’s girlfriend, right?” one of the other women asked.
“Yes, she is,” The Queen replied with a proud smile and asked, “Gold, are you meeting with the Prince today? Or did you just drop by to say hi?”. Gold laughed and replied, “Can’t they be both? I can stop by to say hello to you, and also meet with the Prince.” Gold continued, “ Zainab’s party is almost here and we are going to pick up our outfits,so he asked me to drop by.”
"That sounds so great then" Said the Queen.
“Where’s His Majesty?” Gold asked.
“He’s in a meeting with the Chiefs right now, so he’s preoccupied,” The Queen replied. Gold laughed. "Okay my Queen. I guess I’ll just meet with him some other time.” She stood, said her goodbyes, and headed for Prince’s room. Gold entered her boyfriend’s room and met him lying on his bed while watching TV. He immediately stood up to kiss her, but she stopped him. “Go and have your shower Prince, and let’s go. I don’t want to spend too much time outside today.”
Prince pouted at her. “Let me kiss you, and then I’ll take a shower.” He made to kiss her again while she allowed him, trying to deepen the kiss, but she pushed him away. “Prince, please just go take a shower already.”
He turned around to go to the bathroom, but then just as quickly turned around and planted a kiss on Gold’s lips. Gold laughed at her boyfriend’s antics and leaned into the kiss, and they started kissing deeply. Before Gold knew it, Prince had already pushed her onto the bed and was leaning on top of her. The kisses were getting more serious, and Prince had taken off his shirt and his entire weight was resting on her.
The only warning was the clicking sound of the door opening, before the Queen walked into the room. They quickly jumped apart to separate sides of the room. Gold stood there with an embarrassed look, while the Prince, with a mischievous expression, “Learn to knock, Mum!”
“I’m sorry. Sorry.” The Queen said with a chuckle. “I hope you’re safe?” Prince let out a groan at this and Gold just blushed deeper. ‘That’s fine. I’m leaving now. I just wanted to ask Gold how her parents are doing.” “They’re doing well. They send their regards.” Gold said this while following the Queen out of the Prince’s bedroom.

Allen was in the middle of preparing for the party. His guardian, the Elder, was right there in the room with him. He had some concerns over a vision he saw and was doubtful of Allen going to the party. “Be very careful tonight since you insist on going. Have fun, but not so much that you let yourself become oblivious to your surroundings.”
“Yes, old man. I can’t just cancel because it’s Zainab’s party, and I don’t want to disappoint her.” He sighed. “I will be very careful of everything, Elder. I promise.” Said Allen.
