When Allen arrived into his room, Laura was on his bed, fiddling with her phone, and he seemed a little enraged.
Standing up, she caught a glimpse of his face, and hugging him she whispered, “You’re back.”
In response, he murmured, “Yeah.”
“What happened? You’re so angry right now,” Laura asked with a confused look on her face.
“Really? Am I? I wonder why.”
“Of course you are,” Laura fired back, “Let me guess what happened, and I’ll read your mind as well,” she added, smiling, while Allen grinned back.
He smiled as he asked, “Are you going to read my mind?”
“Yes, I’ll be like you, but first, let me close my eyes,” she said to him.
Allen couldn’t stop himself from laughing.
