Things at the site of the art center were going well. Everyone worked together and quickly amassed a mound of rocks that were precisely what Jonah had asked for. Along with that, they had all found individual ones that he had approved of them keeping. The three fey dragons, Blueberry, Ruby, and Cinder, had delighted in finding small pieces of semiprecious gems, which had been extremely helpful.
Julian was sitting nearby, watching what was happening around the dirt pile, when Jonah walked up and plopped beside him. He leaned his head onto Julian's shoulder as they watched the others. He sighed as Julian rested his cheek on his head.
"It is fun to watch how excited they all get when they find something good," Jonah said.
