Amelia stroked Blueberry's back absently as he sat on her lap in the car. William was driving them to the site of the art center. Amelia would have preferred to walk, but William had insisted that he go with her after the encounter she had the day before with Richard and Kyle. He had also insisted that he stay with her until Julian, Jonah, or Dawson arrived if they were not already there. In the future, they planned to leave early enough that they could walk together to the art center before William would continue on to the Emery Technologies headquarters.
