“You caught me red-handed,” she chuckled.
“More blue than red, I’d say,” he joked, alluding to the fact that most of the paint on her was shades of blue. She giggled. Both of them slowly made their way through the candy aisle.
“It’s really hot today,” she sighed, fingers dragging across a bunch of Airheads candy.
“It is,” he replied. “Kind of don’t wanna leave the gas station.”
