Cheer practice was usually the only time that Skylar felt like herself. But this time she was restless because before even getting to cheer practice she was already called to the principal’s office. After one knock, there was already a grouchy voice behind the door, “Come in Ms. Marais.” She swallowed the gulp in her throat. “I’m sure that you are aware of why you are here?”
“No sir.”, she tried to make herself sound so innocent because knowing herself she shouldn’t have gotten into any sort of trouble.
