It didn’t take either one of them long to realize they could still sniff me out. I was found within the hour. Here I was hoping they’d give me a tiny break.

“Congratulations.” I bowed recognizing their problem solving skills, “so now you know the lengths of the illusions.”
“Yeah yeah,” Alex waved off the lesson fully convinced this was a huge waste of time, “Not to sound stupid or anything, but you could have just told us they are literally just illusions.”
