Episode 2 Jake

After the earlier incident, where the three brought the little child into the house and cleaned her up thoroughly… "Ah, okay… So, what should we do next?" Jong-Ah asked. The three of them sat down, glancing back and forth at one another for a while before turning their gaze toward the little child smiling right at them. "I think, first and foremost, we should come up with a name for her. That way, we don’t have to keep calling her 'the little one' anymore, haha," Jennie suggested. "Wow, the little one is about to get a name, huh? Look how excited she looks! Haha," Rosé said warmly. The baby let out a soft sound, "Aah, aah." "Hmm, does anyone have a name to suggest?" Jennie asked. … "Oh, oh, me! I’ll go first! I suggest the name Marco! Isn’t that such a cool name? No need to thank me too much, though," Jong-Ah said confidently. … Jennie, Rosé, and the little one looked at each other. … "Hahaha! Hahaha!" Laughter erupted from Jennie and Rosé. "What’s so funny?" Jong-Ah asked. "Haha, Jong-Ah, you’re hilarious! This little one is a girl! How could you give her such an overly masculine name like Marco?" Jennie said with a soft smile. … Jong-Ah pouted. "Oh… Right. Okay, fair enough. But honestly, Marco would still sound pretty cool for a girl," Jong-Ah replied. "Right? Don’t you think so, little one?" Jong-Ah asked, turning to the baby. … The baby stared at Jong-Ah blankly, giving off a "no comment" vibe. "Oh, poor thing. It seems like the little one isn’t too fond of your suggestion, Jong-Ah," Rosé teased gently, smiling endearingly. "And you, Rosé? Do you have any names in mind?" Jennie asked. "Um… Let me think for a moment," Rosé responded. "Just don’t pick a super masculine name like Jong-Ah did, haha," Jennie teased. "Don’t worry! Rosé’s so sweet and elegant, I doubt she’d go for something like that," Jong-Ah quipped. … As Rosé was pondering a name for the little one… Knock, knock, knock. The sound of knocking at the door echoed. … The three of them turned their attention toward the door simultaneously. A voice came from outside. "Package delivery!" called the familiar voice of the village’s usual delivery man. "Oh, it’s Jake, the delivery guy," Jennie said. "I’ll go get it! Be right back," Jennie called out. … Jennie opened the door to find Jake standing at his usual spot outside the house. "Here’s your package, ladies," Jake said. "And this… a letter from the boss, addressed to all three of you," Jake added. ("Jake" wasn’t an ordinary character. He worked at the same place as the three of them. They were part of the same group. Jake worked undercover as a delivery man but was actually a member of the mafia spy g**g. That’s why they were very close.) Jake also had a huge crush on Rosé ever since the first time he met her. Flashback to three years ago: At the time, the team—including Jake—was on a mission together. They were infiltrating a g**g’s hideout filled with thousands of enemies to assassinate their leader. It was during this mission that Jake witnessed Rosé’s elegance and her graceful combat moves, leaving him so mesmerized that he almost froze in place. … Whack! A loud smack landed on Jake’s head. "Jake! What are you spacing out for? That guy behind you was about to stab you!" Jong-Ah yelled sternly. Jake snapped back to reality and quickly retreated to find cover. "Thank you, Jong-Ah. If it weren’t for you, I’d be dead by now," Jake admitted. Jong-Ah nodded. "Yeah, you’d be fertilizer by now, decomposing right here," Jong-Ah said bluntly. … "I think… I like Rosé," Jake confessed. Jennie, who had just slid into cover with them, overheard what Jake said. … "Wait, are you saying you have a crush on Rosé?" Jennie asked. "I think so, yeah," Jake replied shyly. "You know this job doesn’t allow us to have relationships or date anyone within the organization, right?" Jennie reminded him. … "I know. I’ll keep this to myself and never tell her," Jake promised. Jennie and Jong-Ah exchanged glances. "Alright. We’ll keep this a secret between the three of us," Jennie said. "Rosé must never know about this because she’s very sensitive about relationships," Jong-Ah added. "I’m worried that it might jeopardize both my friend and you," Jennie explained. "Understood!" Jake replied with determination. … Returning to the present day, the next part of the story will continue. Stay tuned for what happens next.
