“Chloe? What happened? Why are you crying?”
Adrian asked, gently touching her cheeks and she also looked up at him and batted her eyelashes that were thick and smeared with heavy tears.
She sniffed her cries and tried her very best to gain control over her emotions but couldn’t help and only cried harder.
“You hate me.”
She stated, as she began crying harder and Adrian couldn’t help but feel a sense of guilt envelope his heart.
“What?”
He questioned in a state of total shock.
“I don’t… I don’t hat you.”
He commented, trying to control the damage but Chloe only cried harder as she perched down on the nearest bench and submerged her face in between her palms, as she cried harder with every passed second.
“Chloe… please… please stop crying…”
He stated, as he went on to go near her
