Diana jumped up a little, stepping away and aside from Adrian, as she felt a bucket of ice cold water splashed on to her face, reminding her of the realities that she had encountered over the past few days.
She took in a deep breath and composed herself, cursing herself for being so easy and smoothly giving in to Adrian’s touch and temptations.
