“A fund?” Jared asked again, not sure what Adrian was trying to implement.
“At the end of whatever the outcome of the situation might be, I want to pay her a good amount of money, so that the time of hers that I wasted for my own purpose could be compensated for her and she would be able to afford a good and better life for herself.”
Adrian elucidated his plans to Jared, who shook his head and shrugged at his shoulders, giving up on his boss for the final time.
