“I guess one of us is surely dressed appropriately for a funeral then.” Diana retorted back at him, taking Adrian by surprise.
“Huh!” Adrian couldn’t help but show his amusement. “Look at you! still bitter?”
Diana couldn’t help but find Adrian’s comment to be provoking and pushing.
She could feel that Adrian was deliberately trying to provoke her and get a reaction out of her.
“I am tired! And if you do plan on torturing me in New York, I would suggest you rather do it later on, as I also need to charge myself up to tolerate you.”
With that Diana sprinted forward and hopped through the stairs of the plane, getting inside at once.
