Diana dressed herself up and decided to leave and as she tip toed out of the room, something pecked the bottom of her feet and she held back her urge to scream.

She bent down and ran her hands through the carpet and tried to fish out the shiny and reflective object that was camouflaged down in the carpet.
She finally grasped on to something slightly brittle but sharp and solid.
She dug it out of the carpet and looked down keenly at it.
The light blue rays falling from the dawning sky in to the room, made it only slightly visible to Diana, what the object could be.
