Diana held her knees up against her chest, perched down on the ground, sitting on top of the hill, which was her designated spot. Looking down at the distant glowing neon street lights, which used to be once Diana’s point of serenity had somehow turned in to a spot full of tainted memories. She had her first date with Adrian at that spot, where she had ended up kissing him. It was her personal space, a spot where she came to when she had to run away from the blitz and blaze of the daily life that swarmed her heart with depression and anxiety. She felt safe sitting that mountain top but that day, even her open safe space could not bring her any sense of comfort.
