“… but what are you doing here?” Diana immediately changed the topic and it took Adrian slightly with surprise but he immediately played along and decided not to play the sad Romeo for too long because he was still unsure about Diana’s feelings towards him.
A part of him knew that Diana only felt vulnerable at that point when he had brought back her cousin to safety and back to them but then again, when she had her senses knocked to her mind, she perhaps was back to her cold and aloof self that she sustained, around Adrian, given to his actions towards her in the past.
He cleared his throat and held his lips up in a smile.

He extended his hand behind his back and pulled out a small ointment, passing it to Diana and urging her to take it.
