Jared continue to knock on the door, all the while pulling and pushing on the door knob, to insert pressure on Diana so that she would cut the call short with her Aunt and just as he leaned his side against the door to push it harder, the double door to the ballroom, swept open, making Jared lose his balance and fall down over on his side and right next to Diana’s feet.
Surprised, as he had fallen, he closed his eyes at once but immediately opened them up and found Diana’s plain back heels staring back at him.
He lifted his gaze up and traced on to Diana’s entire height only to find her face looking back at him in disgust.
Feeling slightly humiliated and embarrassed, Jared immediately got up on his feet and straightened himself up, extending his hand forward, to which Diana only shrugge
