Chapter Eighteen: Clarity

"I want you to tell me if you want to be with me or not," He ran a hand through his hair and looked at me.     "I do, I have wanted you ever since you first stepped foot into my shop Morgan, I wanted you then and I still want you now, but I can't be the only one with feelings, I can't have another one sided relationship." I said honestly out loud to him.     "You don't think I have feelings for you?" He questioned and I nodded answering him. "That i was just f***ing you because I could?" I nodded again. "Aw baby," he sighed and shook his head, "you got it all wrong, my feelings for you are so strong I don't know how to handle them. Don't get me wrong I absolutely love having s*x with you, but for me its not just s*x or f***ing, I'm trying to show you all of my feelings." By now I was looking at him and listening to every word he said. "That night I told you, you owned me, I wasn't joking you own all of me baby." He walked around the island to me and pulled me into his arms, I stayed silent taking everything in. After a few seconds I hugged him. I looked up at him and wrapped my arms around his neck trying to get him down to my level enough so I could kiss him. He kissed me back slowly at first then it deepened. Pulling back after a minute he placed his forehead on mine.    "How about we go on that first date tonight?" He asked softly rubbing his thumb along my jaw.    "That would be great " I smiled then looked down at what I was wearing and shuddered, "I should probably change first though." I laughed and he smiled.     "Go on then, go get dressed." He said and smacked my butt playfully as I walked off. When I got to the stairs I sprinted up and into my room.     "Wait where are we going?" I yelled down.     "Don't worry about it, just get dressed nothing to fancy though." He said as he walked into my room about 30 seconds later, he sat down on my bed on the side he usually slept on and pulled out his phone. I walked into the closet and looked through my clothes. Pulling out a cute knit sweater, and skinny jeans. I took my dirty clothes off and threw them out the closet door and into the laundry basket. I slipped my pants on and then walked out carrying my sweater so I was just wearing jeans and a bra. Morgan looked up and smirked at me then went back to his phone. I walked into the bathroom and pulled my hair up in a messy bun before tossing my sweater on. I swiped a layer or two of mascara on each of my eyes and then put a thin layer of lip tint on. I looked in the mirror and was happy with how I looked. So I walked back out and grabbed thigh high boots from my shoe rack. Sitting down I pulled them on and tied the tops so they wouldn't fall.     "Okay. I'm ready." I smiled and lifted my jacket off the back of the chair that sat in the corner of my room. Morgan got up smiling.    "Alright let's go," he placed his hand on my lower back and led me out of my room and down the stairs. I grabbed my purse on the way through the house to the front door and locked up behind us as we exited. Morgan had the door open to his passenger side so I could climb in. His truck was set a bit higher then mine so he always helped me in, lifting me easily. I buckled up as he walked around to the driver's side and he stepped up into the cab. Before he buckled up he leaned over to kiss me and I smiled against his lips. He stuck the keys in the ignition and waited for the coil light to turn off, then the sound of the diesel engine filled the cab. He headed down the gravel driveway and got to the highway instead of turning left to head to town he turned right. I didn't know where we were going but I was excited to have our first official date.     "So where are we going?" I asked looking at him as he drove down the highway.    "You'll see," he said and just kept staring down the road. I pouted and crossed my arms. I'm 27 freaking years old and I just pouted like a toddler to my boyfriend? I think he is my boyfriend? I don't know. I laughed inwardly.      "Why won't you tell me?" I asked.    "Because, I kind of planned this date out a while ago but with how busy we have been it kept getting pushed back..." he said and I looked at him.    "Wait so you planned this date beforehand and before asking me?" I looked at him and he shook his head and said pretty much. I smiled softly, so he really had been thinking about me. I reached over and took his hand he had resting on the center console. He intertwined our fingers and brought it up to his mouth to kiss.     45 minutes later we were still driving, I had been looking for clues of where we were going the whole time and hadn't seen anything, until now, when the sign for his hometown showed up. I knew where he was from and all that but I had no idea it was about an hour drive from mine. Now I was really curious to what we were doing. We drove for another 15 minutes and pulled up in front of a little white house with brick and really pretty forest green shutters.     "Uh Morgan... where are we?" I asked staring at the house.     "I've been wanting to introduce you to my parents since that first day we met, so for our first date thats what I want to do, and to have dinner with them.." he looked at me with my hand in his and kissed it.    "You want me to meet them?" I asked. He was the first man I have ever dated that actually wanted me to meet his parents.     "Absolutely, when I was here for those couple of weeks before I kinda told them about you... " he hid his face behind our hands.     "I.. I'm flattered.  I've never met anyone's parents before."  I smiled.    "Well I am more then excited to get you in there to meet them." He said and looked over my shoulder. "Um we should probably head in before my mom comes barreling out here." He pointed to the window and I saw a very pretty lady standing in the window waving. I blushed and waved back.    "Let get in there then." I smiled looking back into his eyes.
