Petra City “Did you contact that minister again, Kazeem?” Ikhlakh asked with a firm voice. He was standing near his balcony and looking outside. Kazeem was standing behind him with his hands downcast. “Yes, Al'lakh. I called him last week and he told me that after the assembly election we have a chance.” He was looking a little annoyed. “But this election will take six months to happen. Till then what we will do Al'akh?” Kazeem asked in hesitation. “Tell Dina, to meet me.” Ikhlakh khan ordered him with arrogance. He fixated his specs and still standing near the balcony looking outside. “nem’akhi” (yes brother) He turned around and left the room to call Dina while greeting his teeth. **** Shakil and Dina were strolling in the garden and having a light conversation. “Do you know, when I saw you at the accident site I thought I will lose you forever but don’t know from where I got the courage you to pull out from that car. Then you have been taken to the hospital and finally, you are in front of me.” She said with teary eyes. “Now I will not let you go anywhere.” She said stubbornly but the voice was cunning. She hugged him firmly and placed her face on Shakil’s chest. She was making circles on his chest with her index finger. “But why I am not able to recall anything from the past. I am still feeling perplexed about anything.” Shakil was not feeling convinced by her statements. “Don't take too much stress on your mind. Doctors have told already that you will get to recall everything when the effects of the medicines will subside. And I am here for you always. You can see yourself in my eyes.” She whispered the last line in his ears before capturing his lips in a passionate kiss. Shakil’s eyes widened by her action. Slowly he also started enjoying it but in his mind, he was still unable to connect his heart with Dina. “Ooghoo, ooghoo” They broke the kiss with a sudden voice came from their side. They both looked at the person standing in front of them. “Al’lakh called you inside, Dina,” Kazeem smirked on her face but when his eyes met with Shakil his face burnt in anger. “OK, I will come.” She answered and started looking at Shakil with emotions. “Now,” Kazeem screamed this time. Shakil and Dina startled for the second. Then Dina left him and turned to move inside. When she crossed Kazeem, she was having a disgusting feeling on her face. She twitched her lips and went inside. Kazeem to followed the suite after jerking his head and left Shakil alone in the garden. ***** Ikhlakh was seeing everything from the balcony. He had a poker expression when he witnessed what had happened there. “nem'akhi” Dina broke his stance. Ikhlakh turned his face. He was glaring at her. For the first time, he was looking angry. Dina took a step back as she shivered by his gaze and looks at her toes. “Can you tell me when the work I gave is going to complete? How much time it will take, dear?” Ikhlakh took small steps towards her and sized up in his eyes. He then held her chin between his thumb and index finger and pulled it up to make eye contact with her. “I didn’t give you time for your lovey-dovey act. I need a result.” He snarled with the last sentence. Dina quivered by his sudden growl. “I-I a-am du-doing Al'-akh," she stuttered with fear. “Oh, I can see that. My girl is doing her best it seems.” He sniggered. “I think you are forgetting our mission, Dina.” he looked at her annoyingly and let his face. He again walked towards his balcony and looked down where Shakil was during on the bench and staring somewhere blankly. He turned back to face her. “We have an only mission in our life and that is to shield our Aqeedah-E-Imaan (Religion). And you are distracting from your path, aren’t you?” He snapped at her. “But Al'akh I am doing as per the planning only. First I need to make him believe that he is Shakil and we are together for a long time. I can’t switch his thoughts with a snap of the finger. I need a little time.” She pleaded. “You have only six months and if you failed in that then be ready for the consequences. And this time I will not spare him.” Ikhlakh threatened her. The entire room was dead silence. Dina and Kazeem were looking at him withholding their breaths. Ikhlakh strolled out of the room in anger. Kazeem came closer to Dina. “I.will.not.spare.him.” he mocked with a heavy voice. Dina glared at him with fire in the eyes as she was about to engulf him as a whole. She left the room while stomping on the floor with her 3-inch wedges. ***** Dina came back to her room and started throwing things here and there in frustration. She smashed down some books from the side bookshelf. Suddenly, some pictures popped out from it. Her hands halted in her way to smash the next batch. She bent down on her knees and picked up the pictures. She got a cunning smile on her face after seeing them. She stood up on her feet and then sit on her bed to think about her next move. She was still looking at the pictures. She fished out the phone from her jeans pocket and dialled a number. “Maharbaan, Juned” (Hello, Juned) “Maharbaan, Sayidati” (Hello, Madam)" a baritone voice came from the other side of the phone. “I am sending you some pictures with one of my bodyguards. Check them out and let me know if we can do some mortifications.” Dina spoke viciously. “Sayatimu Aleamal, ” (work will be done), the baritone voice again came. “Wadaeen, ”(good Bye) Dina hung the call without waiting for his answer. Dina was smiling about what she was doing. “I will do anything to get you Galel. You are mine, only mine. Now if Allah (GOD) will also not able to separate us. I told you, one day you will be mine only. See Allah is helping us too. It was an impulsive act of Allah to send you in my life back.” She laughs sinisterly and stood up then walk towards the balcony. Galel was talking to the gardener and strolling there. ~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK~~~~~~~~~~~~ “I told you already, I can not love you, Dina.” Galel shrugged her hands off from his shoulders. They were standing under the tree in the open green land of the college campus. It was too early to start the classes so very few students were roaming there. “But I love you, Galel. Please try to understand my feelings for you. I will give you all the happiness, what you desire in your life. I am perfect for you.” Dina was pleading in front of him. She again cupped his face with her both palms. “I can understand your emotions, Dina but why are you not trying to listen to me. I DON’T LOVE YOU AT ALL. Now leave me alone.” He jerked her hands off. “Tell me what is lacking in me. Why are you rejecting me?” Dina was livid at the moment. “I always looked at you as my best friend and I do care about it. I never thought you as my life partner. Anyways I love someone else and she loves me too. I can't think about you.” He was speaking with concern voice. “Who's that girl? May I know her?” Dina asked while ripping her tears. Her eyes were red while crying for long and lips were trembling in anger. “You know her. She is your batch mate. Takisha Bariyalai. I love her and can’t live without her. I am going to attend a class. Catch you later.” He spoke nonchalantly and left for the classes. “Takisha... Takisha...Takisha... I hate this name in my life.” Dina punched on the side tree trunk. “She snatched me everything I loved, which I wanted to be with me only. My position, my friends, my love everything she got which I used to be deserved. I will not spare you Takisha. Be ready to reap what you have down.” She looked determine in her words and left the place. ~~~~~~~~~~~~FLASHBACK ENDS~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Dina looked outside of the balcony for a little long time while playing with her strands of hair.
