~~~~~~~~~~~Nazeha~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I ran out of the hotel without looking back. I was crying bitterly and my body was shivering after facing the unbelievable incident. I hold the entrance gate with my left hand and took a pause to get some oxygen.
I was having pain in entire body. My lower part was sore and it was very difficult for me to walk properly. I was walking in daze, but aware of where to go. Now I can’t ho to my home. It will be a big shame to them that their daughter’s dignity has been taken off.
I had no destination to reach. I felt my life is end now. I didn’t want to torment them more. They have ample of problems in their lives. Who I am to increase it? It’s better to end it here rather then keeping the agony in life till last.
I said ‘No’ to that man to fulfill his wish. And he gave me this life long punishment. What was my mistake, huh? But he vanished all my dreams and desires in just snap of the finger. I was crying silently and tears were flowing continuously.
I was just a student and having lots of dreams for my future but now I had no idea what to do? I was continuously walking with undestined pathway.
Suddenly I took a turn towards Zarqa river. I know it was wrong step but I was not having any options left in my mind.
After walking little long I started to hear the sound of flowing water. I was walking continuously. The edge of the river was little deep down. I started to climb down in the small valley which was not deep enough.
I was barefeet but not able to feel the pain if any stone or throne pricked inside them. The pain in my heart was more then any physical pain at that time.
I kept moving towards the river. When I reached near the river and the water started to wash my feet. I felt smoothness in my body. I started to move inside the water body.
Slowly.....slowly the water was submerging me. It was deep enough to engulf me.
The thoughts about my family was popping in and out of my mind.
Faces of my beloved once were coming in front of me. Alab, Umi, Nazibullah Al’akh, Takisha Okhti. I can feel the pain on their face when they will see me like that.
“Ana ‘asaf"(I am sorry) my beloved family for betraying you. Please forgive me if possible. I know I let you down but I am not that strong as you were thinking for me.
“Wadaeaan ‘illaa al'adab" (Good bye forever). I whispered after looking at the sky.
I was drowning in the water. It was dark enough to see in the water. Suddenly I tripped as I was not able to make balance. I drowned deeply into the water. Though wanted to end my life at that moment but I don’t know why I started to struggle for the life.
But may be God has some other plans for me. My left leg got entangled in the weed inside and I was not able to come up on the surface. I was struggling to much to get rid of it. With lack of air my energy dropped and water started to enter in my nostrils.
I became breathless and feeling unconscious. I was trying to catch my breath but failed. I was exhausted and about to touch the bottom of the river. May be it was the end of my life which I was praying for on my entire way.
Sometimes God listen to you when you don’t want to make him listen. Suddenly I felt myself dragging somewhere.
Who was dragging me? I felt unconscious afterwards.
After two Days~~~~~~
After searching every where in the city the police didn’t get a single clue. They have checked every house, shop and hotel of the city but didn’t find anything. Even the hotel in which Kazeem was staying, they went their too but came back bare handed.
Kazeem has already sealed mouths of hotel staff with money so it was impossible for them to spit out something. Even he interfered with the security system and pressured them on the gun point to delete the footage of them.
It was an another big shock for the family that after Galel, Nazeha was missing too. A big thunderstorm was blasted upon them.
Atiqullah got a call from police station.
“Yes we are coming,” he hung the phone and quickly informed Hanifa to get ready.
Takisha and Nazibullah were not there at home at that time so it was useless to call them. Atiqullah wanted to know about Nazeha's whereabouts as soon as possible. So they decided to check at the police station first and then inform them later.
They both reached to the police station afterwards.
They were sitting in front of the police commissioner. He was looking little puzzled about how to start the conversation.
“See I know, you were facing tough time with your family. But I can understand the pain.” He was trying to make up their mind but freaking out.
“Say it clearly, cut the crap.” Atiqullah said with frustration. He was already in pain due to Nazeha’s missing report and now this commissioner was not saying the truth.
“You have to be strong enough to face it. I know it would be painful for the parents but I am sorry, it’s my duty to tell you the truth anyways.” He said to them with flat expressions.
“What do you want to say officer?” Atiqullah said with anticipation. His heart was beating fast with unknown fear. Hanifa was crying silently. Tears were rolling down from her cheeks.
“Actually, we recovered a dead body from Zarqa river. But we are not sure it is your daughter or not. So we called you here to recognize it.” He quivered with his statement.
Hanifa started crying loudly. Atiqullah was rubbing her hand.
“Are you sure, officer?” He asked with teary eyes.
“You have to recognize it, then only we can be sure. Right now I cannot give you any type of assurance.” He said in the sad voice.
Atiqullah nodded to him. Then that officer called his subordinate to come inside and bring one lady constable with him.
When they arrived, they all walked towards the room where the dead body was kept.
Atiqullah and Hanifa both were shaking like a leaf, having fear of untoward. They reached inside the room with baby steps.
The commissioner reached towards the body and then looked at them. He asked through his eyes to remove the sheet from the face.
Atiqullah slowly nodded. He was holding Hanifa tightly to save her from sudden shock.
The officer removed the sheet and both the parents came near to it.
They looked at the body with wide eyes. But then Hanifa's eyes knitted together.
“No, officer no, she is not our daughter. She is not.” She broken down and fell down on the floor after saying that.
“Yes Officer, she is right. This body doesn’t belong to our girl. Please continue with your search further.” He requested to him while holding his hands in pleading way.
