Dominic’s POV I zipped up the last section of my bag, shoving in my hoodie and laptop charger with a sigh. The room already felt empty, stripped of the chaos that had filled it for the past few days. Max, meanwhile, was dramatically tossing things into his duffel like he was mad at them. “Jesus,” I muttered, watching him try to zip it up. “You gonna fold anything or just crush your entire wardrobe?” He grunted, knee on top of the bag. “I don’t wanna leave. This weekend was sick.” I chuckled and shook my head. “You’ve got school Monday.” “Ugh, don’t remind me.” We made our way downstairs, bags in hand, where the rest of the lobby was already buzzing with movement. Luggage by the door, hugs being exchanged, voices overlapping with promises and jokes. The usual end-of-vacation energy.
