CHAPTER THREE :Amanda

The sound of a car engine could be heard at the entrance of Macon group of company, just then the gate was opened, and a well built guy,very muscular and good to look at,the guy whose name is Jake opened the back seat of the car and Amanda walked out, she has that cooling aura that openly screams wealth, she walked majestically towards the building until she entered it,

inside the building some staff working there saw Amanda and they all became conformed and formal, while some of them whispered "the boss's girlfriend is here," despite all these formalities, Amanda however remained calm and conformed, some of the workers greeted her while the rest rather focused on their works, Amanda went upstairs through the elevator without uttering and further word to anybody. Few minutes after she was gone, a young lady uttered something to her friend and they both chuckled, her name is ella, and she's one of the minor staff in macon company, she has started developing feelings for derick even before he got to meet Amanda, but consequently for her, the guy never looked her way, she was really pained when she discovered derick had a girlfriend and then she knew there was no way she could protest against it, and so she just went into corners waiting for the right opportunity to strike, she hated Amanda deep within herself but she knew she couldn't show it because of the fact that Amanda is always bigger and better than her, both in richness and beauty,she however had a burning hatred towards Amanda to the extent that if she got an opportunity, she would kill Amanda without any hesitation, because according to her, Amanda was too proud and rude but contrary to her belief, Amanda was a true definition of a perfect young lady, she was pretty, really beautiful, she was innocent, pure, accommodating and also very nice to everyone around her, Ella just hated her because she felt she took her man away from her, whereas derick was never hers anyway.

Inside Amanda's office, her PA stood up immediately on seeing her and greeted her in a very polite way, Amanda always get confused by all the respect she's being accorded in the company because she views everyone as thesame and she expected people to view her like that too but derick was a very wealthy and influential man in the society, and so people respect anybody that is related to him In anyway, as much as they respect him, the workers in the company knew how much derick loves Amanda and because of that, they respected Amanda because no one would want to anger the wealthy derick.
