Mason's words keep resounding in my head, an endless loop that tugs at my sanity. Can I sincerely make Adrian jealous? What if he doesn't care? I mean, he's still mad at me. What if he doesn't even glance my way? What if I'm just another distant memory to him?
I sigh, moving from the couch to the bed, my gaze fixed on the ceiling. The party's in three hours, and the maid who's supposed to dress me up is nowhere to be found. Probably still rummaging for something extravagant.
