I’m so glad Josh is here with me, I didn’t realize I have been nervous since Alex told me he is coming with his uncle not until Josh pointed it out.
“They all hate me,” I say to Alex.
“They are dumb.”
“I can’t have another family member hating on me.”
“Emma you need to calm down, it will go well.”

I know it doesn’t matter to Alex if his family likes me, I saw the way they looked at each other during the charity event, it was like they hated themselves but covered it up with a fake smile, but f**k I don’t know why but it did matter to me if they like me or not, I want them to do like me.
