25 Run Or Die The free runners were gaining with every step, with two more closing in from left and right. “Someone must have spotted us. Cut my ties,” Nathan said, between breaths. “No,” I said. “Cut my ties so I can fight.” “Just keep running,” I said, before leaping off a solid stone roof on to another made of sloping, corrugated iron. The first runner caught me as I landed. As Nathan scrambled up the roof, I struggled for grip.
