MY hands were shaking as I picked up and looked at the photos. There’s a photo of my mom and dad. They look like they’re in the hospital. They are sitting in the waiting area, probably for my dad’s checkup. There’s also a picture of Danica in the mall while she had her baby in a carrier in front of her. She’s walking side by side with a man whom I assume is the father of her baby. There’s a picture of Diether in his school uniform. It seems like he’s at the bus stop waiting to catch a ride. Lastly, the picture of Wendy looks to have been taken at the restaurant while she’s working. All the pictures had a red X mark on their heads.
Ram is reading the letter that came with the pictures. When he looked up, he saw me sobbing. He dropped the letter and looked at the pictures I was holding.
