WITHIN a few weeks, Ram’s divorce to Kelly had been finalized and he told me that we should prepare to go back to the house. I got excited as I really missed the girls, especially Veronica. I have been craving for Gina’s home-cooked meals as well. I loved Anita’s cooking, but Gina has a wider knowledge in terms of different cuisines. I think it’s because she’s younger and she probably learns to cook some of her dishes through YouTube.
When the time to leave had arrived, I said goodbye to Anita and told her I’m going to miss her. She has been my Veronica while I was staying in the beach house. She has taught me a lot about child-rearing as well. I vowed to keep in touch and that we’ll visit her from time to time. I even made her swear that she’ll be at our wedding.
