I left the beach house early even before Denise woke up. I told her that I needed to go to the office and that I might be gone for a few days. I made sure to brief security to be extra vigilant and to not let anyone in the property before running it by me first. I contacted my mom so she can come by and accompany Denise while I’m away. She seemed suspicious on where I was going but she didn’t inquire further when I talked to her.
