Chapter 2 : A FAMILIAR STRANGER

Elena encounters Luca Romano,her childhood friend and first love,now a quiet and rugged carpenter who never left town.Their reunion was unexpected,non of them ever believed they were ever going to see each other again but the universe has its way of doing things.He asks her why she returned to the hometown,she tells him of her grandmother’s ailment,

“He Wishes her quick Recovery.”

The reunion became tense when Luca asked her if she was married with kids but she answered no,he was surprise because Elena was a epitome of beauty to behold.

Old feelings began to linger beneath the surface,but Elena isn’t sure she is ready to feel anything again.

It was a whole journey back home with Luca ,they talked about their childhood memories,experiences they had together as kids,which was already buried in their hearts.

Elena and Luca had a lot of familiar incidents in their lives as children,which not so many had,due to the kind of bond they once shared.

Elena had always imagined how meeting Luca again would be,but never imagined she would feel the way she felt meeting him,after so many years.

While,Luca on the other hand,couldn’t control his emotions on meeting Elena again.

It was just a very good day for Elena and Luca.
