7 More valuable than Caravan Douglas Winward, CEO of Caravan, rode the lift all the way to the top floor of the apartment high rise. It could easily fit twenty people, but the guards that flanked him tended to discourage other riders. Besides, the other tenants could use one of the five lifts that serviced the lower floors.
