It wasn't easy to commit to a single cause in this moment, the monsters of this land had come alive to prove exactly why they were worthy of the legends, and right now I could not choose on whether to run, whether to stay still and wait for all of it to come to me, or whether to turn back and try to hide. I just froze there, nothing but silence and the beating of my heart, feeling the atmosphere along with that ashy, acidic presence. I went on to crouch, just slightly bent at the waist, trying to get a closer look at what was exactly beneath me, and that's when it all caved beneath my feet, began to shake, until I stumbled forward and began running in an inclined position, until I found myself tossed over to the ground.
