Just when I thought things could not get any worse, any more painful and humiliating; They did. But I did not have time to focus on that. I had to check on Eston. Eston had taken quite a few hits. Very, very brutal blows from Bears. And I needed to make sure that he's okay.
"Eston!" I yelled out his name even though he was just six feet away from me and I crawled over to him, quickly examining him for any injuries. "Are you okay? Are you in pain? I'm so sorry this had to happen to you." I tried to see if there was anything that would be concerning, but no, he was just fine.
Thank goodness for his fast healing ability. He even bragged about it himself… a little too much whenever he gets the chance.
