My body was being encased by the unknown and I was trying to fight it, but I could not. Every single fight that I had was internal, and nothing physical was going to be able to stop the solidification of my body. No, no, I remained frozen, hunched like that until it all just broke apart, like imploded from within, and I was free.
Once I was free, I realized that I'd lost my legs. I didn't allow myself a moment to question or be devastated and I began crawling on my belly until I reached that door, and when it opened, something exploded right before me.
