Chapter Fifty-five CARA'S UNEASY feeling grew intense when she got back in the station and she didn't receive any pleasantries from the same officers who greeted her the first day of her reinstatement. They hardly glance in her direction while she was walking through the cubicles. And when they did, it didn't last for even a single minute and the expression they wore wasn't anywhere near delightful. Some looked at her with pity in their eyes.
