Chapter Seventy-nine The next few days were well spent cleaning up the whole house and packing up all of their things. Apparently, Cara had made a decision to claim back their old house. Not just for her job but mainly, for Alex's comfortability. She had been doing all her best to do what he wished and provide what he wanted. It's all part of her reconciliation with him and proving that he matters to her the most. She started by giving him back the one thing he had missed—his old life and friends—and the second of her plans was to book an appointment at his favorite restaurant. She ought to make use of the one-week break that Alman had given her by moving out and sorting the last process of the Marionette Killer case and, so far, she's consuming every bit of it with the utmost attention
