Chapter Eighty-five It had been only a night so the blood hasn't yet fully dried up on some particular places such as the carpet and the sofa. Those places were still damp when Cara bended to see it closely. The large blood pattern underneath the chairs indicated that the victims had bled out too much. Distant blood splotches circulated the entire pattern. Cara could see the clear traces of where it had traveled before it reached down the carpet.
