Chapter 9 Ray’Nia Base: O’Paka She completed another long day of fake work. Almost, but since Freya wasn’t here, she’d taken the opportunity to leave a bit early and start sketching the new image she wanted to paint. O’Paka hated the life she lived, though if it helped the Resistance as much as Freya said she did, it was worth it in the end. Didn’t make the days of working in a boring, uncreative office go any faster. She packed up her few items that went with her everywhere in a small over-the-shoulder bag and closed their office door. The lengthy walk out of the base consisted of the usual nods and waves to fellow soldiers that didn’t have a clue what a fighting stance was.
