Evianne overturned her wine glass, her arms flailing wildly, her beautiful face turning purple.
"Le—Let go of… me…"
Evianne uttered those words from gritted teeth, rolling her eyes upwards, seemingly about to pass out.
Zamond smiled.
His slim fingers slackened bit by bit. Eventually he released Evianne's neck.
A gasp was heard.
Evianne took great gulps of the air, and her eyes were watering.
In the past few seconds, she had thought her death was certain.
Zamond got off his high stool, rearranged his clothes and turned to leave.
"Hey! Where are you going?"
Evianne hurriedly jumped off and took him by the arm. "We—We haven't finished our talk about our marriage yet."
"Our marriage?" Zamond looked sidelong at her with an amused smile. "You really want to marry me?"
"Of course I do. You think I was joking?" Evianne smiled with a lift of her brows. "Like I said, your family won't get the short end of the bargain if you marry me. You're bound to have a marriage of convenience, anyway. Why not pick someone obedient and pleasing to the eye?"
Evianne deliberately threw out her chest when saying the words "pleasing to the eye."
She was pretty confident about her figure.
Unsurprisingly, Zamond's eyes raked her bosom.
"Are you sure about this?"
"A hundred percent!"
"Alright. Let me see what you got."
…
Zamond took Evianne to a hotel.
And it was the same hotel where she was rumored to have slept with three men in one night.
The car halted at the front door of the hotel. Evianne looked out of the car window and inwardly let out a sigh.
Is this the only hotel in Sirra City?
Why did he pick this one?!
"Are you regretting it?"
Zamond's charming voice was faintly teasing.
Evianne turned to look at him tenderly and gave a lovely smile. "I'm not."
With that she pushed the car door open and led the way toward the hotel door with a sinuous gait.
When Zamond followed her into the hotel, she had expertly gotten a room.
Holding the room key, Evianne briskly stood before Zamond with a sparkle in her eyes. "Our first time. It's my treat."
Zamond shifted his gaze from the room key to her face. For an instant he was dazzled by her smile.
He took her by the wrist and drew her toward the elevator at a slightly hasty pace.
They bathed in different bathrooms.
Evianne walked out barefoot, wrapped in a bath towel, her hair wet.
Zamond was reclining against the headboard, drinking.
At the sight of Evianne, he crooked his finger at her and said in a deep voice, "Come here."
Evianne walked toward him with studied shyness, her head down. She had barely reached the bedside when Zamond dragged her onto the bed and pinned her under him.
His eyes were very bright, but he didn't make any further moves. He just looked at her quietly.
Evianne was flustered beneath his gaze, but she had to compose herself.
She arched her back, leaning her face close to Zamond's handsome one, and deliberately blew at his sensuous thin lips.
"Come on. Get inside me."
But Zamond remained motionless.
Since he doesn't want to make the first move, I'll do it.
Evianne gave a beaming smile and mischievously slid her hand into his bathrobe.
"What's this, Zam?"
Evianne was holding something scalding.
Face flushed, Evianne asked Zamond about it shyly in a drawling voice on purpose.
Zamond's breathing was getting heavier, the longing in his eyes deepening.
He involuntarily tightened his grip on Evianne's arms, his fingernails threatening to sink into her skin.
Evianne fought through the pain to speak again, trying hard to maintain her smile.
"Zam, it moves."
"Yeah, it moves."
Finally, Zamond made his move.
He stooped down and clamped his lips on her ear lobe
When rubbing his tongue and teeth against the fair-skinned delicate flesh, he heard a groan escape Evianne's lips, which pleased him.
His scalding breath fanned the skin behind her ear. He whispered something in Evianne's ear and she instantly felt her whole body burning.
"I—I don't know how to do that."
"I'll teach you."
With that Zamond held her wrist with his big hand.
He fixed his inscrutable eyes on her face. Her hand began to move slowly under guidance of his.
Wait!
Something doesn't feel right.
Evianne admitted that she had watched a lot of p**n movies.
But clearly the man she was now in bed with was exceptionally well-endowed!
She gaged the size of the thing in her hand and felt that it overshadowed those of all the p**n stars she'd seen in movies.
If she let him take her this way, she might bleed out.
Evianne's big eyes roved. With an obsequious look in her eyes, she parted her rosy lips and said softly, "Zam, I'm scared. How about I help you get it out this way?"
Zamond lifted her leg and immobilized it in the crook of his arm.
Rubbing his warm fingers against the inside of her thigh, he asked with a half smile, "Just like this?"
"Please, Zam." Evianne gave a sniffle, looking piteous. "Please be gentle. I'm scared."
"You may rest assured that I'll be gentle. I promise," Zamond said. The smile on his lips struck Evianne as wicked.
He covered her mouth with his own and began to kiss her fiercely.
Evianne's previous kissing experiences stood no comparison with Zamond's.
His kiss was aggressive, passionate and vigorous.
Evianne was overwhelmed by his surging passion.
When he finally released her lips, she gulped for air frantically.
Zamond leaned toward her, clamped her ear lobe between his teeth and asked in a low voice, "Are you ready?"
What?
Am I ready?
Ready for what?
Evianne lowered her head in alarm and nearly fainted from the fear caused by what she saw.
"No! No! Wait, Mr. Tanke!"
She braced her hands against his shoulders, yanked up her legs and accidentally kicked Zamond in the face!
Time seemed to have stopped.
Evianne cowered against the headboard, Zamond maintaining his posture.
Minutes were ticking away.
Evianne's throat felt dry. It struck her that she needed to do something.
If she didn't, her marriage proposal would be rejected and she might even die in this room.
She cleared her throat and smiled obsequiously, "Mr. Tanke, I, uh… I—"
Before Evianne could finish her sentence, Zamond abruptly rolled over and sat up.
He grabbed his clothes from the chair at the end of the bed and began to put them on one by one angrily.
Evianne swallowed hard, crawled up to him and, sitting on her heels, stared at his face with moist eyes.
"Mr. Tanke, are you mad at me?"
Zamond buttoned up his sleeves and turned to look at her sneeringly. "Miss Moone, you went too far with the jokes."
Crap!
He really got angry!
Evianne cast around desperately for a remedial measure, her mind racing.
But Zamond had turned around to leave.
No!
I must not let him go!
In her anxiety, Evianne closed her eyes and lunged at Zamond.
She had psyched herself up. If he didn't catch her and she landed on the floor, she would fling her arms around his thigh.
She would suck up her pride and dignity.
She must have him stay!
However, Evianne did not thud to the floor painfully as she expected.
She opened her eyes and found herself hanging from Zamond's neck like a koala bear.
Her arms were hooked around his neck, her legs wrapped around his waist.
Zamond was supporting her with his arms under her bottom.
Blushing, Evianne said in a shy and soft voice, "Don't be mad. I'm not letting you leave."
Zamond gazed at her, his penetrating eyes fixed on her eerily inviting lips. He said in a low and dangerous voice, "Evianne Moone, are you aware of the consequences of having me stay?"
She bobbed her head vigorously.
Compared with the consequences of having him stay, what her failure to have him stay might cause scared her even more.
"Alright." Zamond's voice was husky with longing.
He carried her back to the bed and had scarcely settled her on it when a loud bang was heard.
The room door opened with a crash. Jasmine stormed inside with four men in her wake.
At the sight of what the two of them were doing, Jasmine's eyes reddened with fury. "Evianne MOONE! I'll KILL YOU!"
Evianne gave a shudder at Jasmine's yell. Then she heard Zamond say smilingly, "Evianne, if you want to marry me, you'll have to prove yourself by handling her."
