Adelie POV
The rest of my day at the office was filled with me working as usual, and it was finally closing time.
I wait in my office for Raymond to finish up with work, so we can go home together since he'll be coming over to my place for dinner.
After waiting for what seems like forever, the door finally opens, and he walks out with the most usual cheerful smile lingering on his face.
"I'm sorry for keeping you waiting, baby. I was talking to a client of mine," He explains to me, and I slowly nod my head.
"It's fine. Can we go now?" I ask him as I pick up my bag from the desk, and stride over to the door.
"Sure, we can," He winks at me, as he walks over to me, and we leave the office together.
