Todd takes our chosen rings up to the three judges on the balcony overlooking the stage. They examine each one in turn, even Oliver, although the permanent scowl never leaves his face. Franklin and Cynthia seem to be reading something off a sheet of paper on the table - more information about the rings, I’m guessing. After a few minutes of deliberation, they select one of the rings and set it aside in its black velvet box. Based on his body language, Oliver seems to be arguing with his parents about the winner. It’s impossible to tell from this distance which ring was selected or what the judges are saying to each other, but Frank and Cynthia appear to shoot their son’s protestations down, two against one. I really wish they’d just hurry up and tell us the results already. The suspense
