At nightfall the groomsmen come to escort me from my suite, along with the other six girls. Like me, the other “candidates” are all wearing the compulsory outfit of white mini dress, pink “Bride to Be” sash and sparkly stiletto heels.  Miraculously, I was able to get a few hours of sleep in the afternoon, and now I’m feeling sharp and wide-awake, ready to take on whatever lies ahead. Some of the other girls look a little worse for wear, and I’m guessing they struggled to sleep. Holly has dark circles under her eyes and her platinum blonde hair looks dishevelled, as though she was too distraught to brush it.
