Matt watched Liam walk away as Luke returned.
“What happened, bro!?” Luke asked.
“Never mind!”
For the very first time, Matt felt threatened by Liam. He observed Liam’s every move around Loraine. Everything he did toward her seemed strange. This time, he was openly showing his intentions.
Luke noticed that Matt was distracted.
“What do you think of Liam!?” Luke asked.
“What do you think of him, Luke!?” Matt replied.
Luke laughed at him.
A few minutes later, Matt’s cellphone vibrated. He pulled it out of his pocket.
