Loraine already knew about the child, Her chest tightened. For a moment, she couldn’t breathe. when she heard the little girl call Matt "Daddy."
He immediately ended the call, knowing that Loraine was listening.

“Then tell me the truth!”
Matt hugged her tightly and cleared his throat. Before he could explain, Loraine’s phone vibrated. She checked her cellphone and saw that Luke was calling.
“Where are you?”
“Why?”
“Mom is looking for you. You need to go home.”
“Okay.”
She ended the call and looked back at Matt.
“Let’s talk tomorrow,” he said.
